People have asked 'Why two sets of ears?' I say, 'The better to hear you with, my dear.'

Sarah-neko was born on June 20, 1978 and is still not dead. In 1998 she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Auckland, and in 1999 she returned to that hallowed institution to do a Master of Arts in English. 2000 was spent in travel and work, including being a summer camp counselor in the USA, and in 2001 she should complete her Master's.

I'm going to cut out of the third person now, if that's okay. I've been a fan of anime since, um, well, I think DiC's Sailor Moon started on TV here in the summer of 1995-6 (I'm in New Zealand, so we're talking Southern summer), and that's where it all started. The first honest-to-goodness anime I saw (that is, in Japanese with subtitles, as opposed to poorly dubbed by Canadians) was All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku, so it has a special place in my heart. The left ventricle, to be exact.

This is the third webshrine I've created. You can access all my webworks through my homepage, Air & Angels Anime Shrines. Most of 'em are shrines to the men of Tenkuu no Escaflowne, especially Dilandau Albatou, who could be Arisa's soulmate. Nuku Nuku Punch! is a bit of a departure from these in terms of style - namely, all this goddamn PINK! *^.^*

As you may have noticed in the picture on the left, I'm a catgirl. Hairdressers complain about having to trim around the ears, but otherwise life is pretty good. I live with my family in Howick, a sleepy seaside suburb of Auckland, the largest city in Polynesia, home of Xena: Warrior Princess, etcetera etcetera. I can't whistle, but I can snap my fingers, and I tie my shoelaces with a kind of bow that I invented myself.

Okay, I'm getting silly and punchy now. *^.^* If you want a little more information on me, visit SuperMinx!
